MBA Research

I started this Web Site as part of the research element of my MBA Dissertation. I can say that it has been challenging but it is not beyond the ability of anyone who uses a computer on a daily basis. Publishing the Questionnaire to this Web Site was particularly demanding - but I did it!! This page is now complete; there are now a Statement of Informed Consent and the MBA 2012 Research Questionnaire residing behind this Page - just follow the link at the bottom of this page. As my MBA Research is now complete and I have now successfully completed my MBA, no further responses are required; I have, however, left these pages available for information and reference purposes only.

The Subject I successfully undertook my MBA Research in was:

Marketing Research and the Real Estate and Construction Industries

Synopsis
Marketing Research has been presented as a potentially important tool when improving corporate performance.  In the Real Estate and Construction sector(s) (REC), large companies may undertake some marketing research but it is often neglected especially by smaller companies. A debate exists regarding advantages and disadvantages of marketing research by REC organizations – however smaller companies are often overlooked.

One of the basic purposes of marketing research is to reduce uncertainty when plans are being made.  What is the actual and potential usefulness of marketing research to small companies operating in the REC in helping to analyse the external environment and competitive market(s) when identifying the best way to satisfy the needs and wants of both existing and potential customers?

AS MY RESEARCH IS NOW COMPLETE AND I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED MY MBA, NO FURTHER QUESTIONNAIRE RESPONSES ARE REQUIRED - MANY THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HELPED ME IN THIS MBA RESEARCH PROJECT.

Again, many thanks, Paul(D).
